Time Blocking 101

We’re not machines. Make sure you set aside time throughout the day for a quick stretch, coffee refill, or newspaper break. Not 100% of your day has to be dedicated to 100% work. ⁠

👉Overestimate Your Time⁠

Give yourself twice the time you expect to finish a task. Don’t be over-optimistic with your day until you have a solid understanding of what you can get done. Having extra time on your calendar def beats having less. ⁠

👉Stay On Track⁠

Use a daily time management strategy to stay on track. Time blocking means sticking to your schedule. Use daily calendar alerts or alarms to keep you moving through your schedule and hitting your goals.⁠
